  • Finalised the design. and I have developed the website by myself on WIX platform.

Understanding the users needs

To begin a design project, it's essential to know exactly what your user wants and why. This means having good conversations about what needs to happen and thinking about different ways to make it all work out.

In this scenario, I wanted to understand the users and their real needs. I have hosted 10-15 like-minded travelers from around the world through the Couchsurfing app. This gives me a wonderful opportunity to understand what they looking for and why they are frustrated with travel websites. Tease research helps me to organize our website architecture.

Wireframes/Structure the website

After we know what users want, we start making their experience on the website good. First, we plan how everything will be organized, like what goes where. This helps us make sure everything is easy to find and use.

Then, I start looking for ideas and figuring out how the website should look and work. After that, I make a basic sketch of the website called wireframes. I talk about these sketches with my partner and some people who know a bit about design. We have many meetings to talk about what's good and what needs to be changed, and then we make those changes.

Design System

A design system is a set of rules, components, and guidelines that make it easier to create consistent and user-friendly designs across different parts of a project. It can be used to create websites, apps, or other digital products. These building blocks include things like buttons, fonts, colors, and spacing guidelines.

Logo Design/Branding

I wanted to design a logo which is easy to understand, simple, and unique. Which is our thought behind The Orange Sky. And wanted to make it recognizable. It is like you are entering in different world.

With the logo I have created many promotional materials for different media.

Designing Final UI

Once I have finalized the UX structure, brand colours, fonts, and design style. Now it is time to focus on the final UI design of The Orange Sky website. Which is the face of our company. Though the UX was ready, this was not done in one go. Even the final UI design went through a few revisions.

Conclusion & Impact
